No matter how much fans want to see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence team up again, the future of Bad Boys for Life (aka Bad Boys 3) remains a well guarded mystery.
Considering it’s been 15 years since Bad Boys 2 hit cinemas, you’d have thought the trilogy would have been well and truly completed by now – however it appears several factors over the years have prevented the project from going ahead, despite Smith and Lawrence constantly teasing another film.
Well despite the project continuing to remain stagnant, it seems Will Smith couldn’t resist sending fans into overdrive with another obvious hint to it’s future.
Taking to Instagram yesterday to wish fellow ‘Bad Boy’ Martin Lawrence a very happy birthday, Smith posted a picture of the two actors from their original Bad Boys days with the caption; “What you think Marty-Mar? One more time?”
It’s perhaps the biggest hint yet but whether the two will in fact return. According to IMDb, Bad Boys for Life is still has the green-light, with both Smith and Lawrence attached to return as the larger than life detectives. However, don’t expect to see Michael Bay step into the directors chair again, or even a producers chair for that matter.
