Marvel kept the full script from Avengers: Infinity War cast

The studio has taken drastic steps to prevent any story leaks

Avengers: Infinity War marks the pivotal point in Marvel’s colossal and record breaking Cinematic Universe that will finally see Earth’s Mightest Heroes take on the universe’s biggest bad, Thanos.

With over 60 Marvel characters attached to the mega-blockbuster and over a $1 billion already spent on production and salaries, Marvel has taking drastic steps to ensure no spoilers leak out from it’s excitable cast.

Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch, spoke recently about production and the fact that none of the cast, including Robert Downey Jr, have seen the full script.

This time, they actually decided to not give us scripts. They gave me my pages and then they explained other things that are happening. I’ll be so shocked and surprised. I’ll be like ‘Oh I see, that’s what was happening to the world at that time.’

Marvel have been very closed when it comes to dishing out any dirt on the movie but they have confirmed that several key characters meet their end as Avengers 3 closes the door on ‘Phase 3’.

They’ve clearly staked a lot on delivering a shocking and powerful ending for some of Marvel’s most beloved characters – however news on the fate of one major character has already been accidentally leaked across social media.

Josh Brolin, who plays big-bad Thanos, took to his Instagram account last week to speak of his excitement to kick off production on Avengers 4.

Oh dear. Spoiler alert!!!

I can’t imagine Marvel were too happy about that little slip of the keyboard. Although considering Thanos makes his full debut in Avengers: Infinity War, and is widely considered the biggest bad in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was always likely that the villain would appear in more than one Avengers movie.

So just who will meet their fate? Iron Man, Captain America, Thor… guess we’ll have to wait and see next year when Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas worldwide.
