SDCC 2017: Gambit is still going ahead with Channing Tatum

Gambit seems to be on the verge of notoriety as the movie that never quite seems to go anywhere, having been in pre-production now for several years without any forward development.

But just when we’d all given up on the notion of seeing Channing Tatum take over as the card wielding mutant, Remy LeBeau, it appears Gambit is well and truly on course still.

Speaking yesterday at San Diego Comic Con, Tatum confirmed that the project is still in development over at 20th Century Fox, and it’s leading man is still very much committed to seeing it made.

However Gambit might not be a major priority for Fox at the moment, with projects like Dark Phoenix and New Mutants at the top of the production pile, it’s anyone’s guess as to when we might be Gambit hit the big screen.
